Ariell, TGRC’s Development Specialist, blends years of personal and professional experience working in grief. She has a B.A. in Organizational Communication from the University of Montana, has spent the last 10 years building a small independent business. She has experience working with youth, adolescents, and adults and has been a longtime friend, participant, and supporter. Her experiences have ignited a passion to spread awareness and help support others who have experienced significant loss.

my “why”:

My personal experience attending TGRC’s Women's Rendezvous for a reduced fee inspires me to share the mission and magic of TGRC with donors, funders, and foundations so that others likely to benefit from grief support programs can attend regardless of ability to pay. My own grief experience opened my eyes to how little our culture talks about death and grief. TGRC's grief education programs continue to break down stigmas and teach coping skills in schools and businesses to create a more responsive and grief aware community for the future.

re-charging & delight-finding:

I love hiking Sentinel at 5 a.m. year round with friends. I love trail running, snowboarding, and coaching long jump, triple jump, and high jump for the Hellgate Knights!!
