As the only year-round provider of grief support and education in Montana, Tamarack Grief Resource Center offers much-needed, stabilizing support for western Montana families and communities immediately following tragic loss, through grief and transition, and years beyond.

In 2021, TGRC served over 5,700 individuals through grief support and education, many of whom attended at a reduced rate or for no cost. Many families experiencing the death of a family member also encounter a significant loss of income, as well as increased expenses. Although TGRC charges a modest fee for our programs, we never turn anyone away because of inability to pay - 97% of participants in Community Workshops, Support Groups (youth, teen, and adult), Camps/Retreats, and Urgent Responses received services at low or no cost. Our flagship camp, A Camp to Remember, is funded largely by the generous support of the community.
The support of generous volunteers and donations play a major role in the success of our organization’s ability to provide services to those likely to benefit, regardless of ability to pay.
