my “why”:
My community has continual complicated grief and loss. Growing up surrounded by this I wanted to find a way to provide support and an outlet for those that are hurting. When I first volunteered for Tamarack in 2010 I was inspired by all the magic and healing that happened at “A Camp to Remember” and wanted to bring it home.
re-charging & delight-finding:
I recharge by finding small moments of quiet in the day and being outside always works. My sources of joy and delight are my 3 boys who are equal parts wild and sweet, my family, running & a good book.
