A Camp to Remember (ACTR) is a fun, supportive, and healing overnight summer camp for kids entering 3rd-9th grade who are grieving the death of a family member or loved one.
2022 ACTR Youth camp will take place August 16-19 on the stunning shores of Seeley Lake, MT.
Campfires, kayaking, arts & crafts, games, and scavenger hunts are interspersed with opportunities to honor grief with understanding peers.
Our biggest goal is to provide an emotionally and physically safe camp experience. Tamarack Grief Resource Center will be following local and national camp guidelines related to COVID-19 safety. We will enforce smaller capacity limits in 2022 due to COVID-19. Space is limited.
We want to ensure that A Camp to Remember is a positive experience for all. Together we will determine if your child is likely to benefit from camp. Your thoughtful, honest, and complete responses help us best support your child. Upon being accepted to camp, you will receive additional information (directions to camp, schedules, times of arrival and departure, etc.).
Campers of any age must be able to engage constructively in group settings and must not require one-on-one supervision to do so.
Good news! TGRC has many support options available for families. If camp is not the best fit for your child at this time, or if we have reached capacity, our Program Team is happy to explore other resources that may be enjoyable and beneficial for your child.
