A Camp to Remember (ACTR) is a fun, supportive, and healing overnight summer camp for kids entering 3rd-9th grade who are grieving the death of a family member.

2023 ACTR Youth camp will take place August 21-24 on the stunning shores of Seeley Lake, MT. 

Campfires, kayaking, arts & crafts, games, and scavenger hunts are interspersed with opportunities to honor grief with understanding peers.

Our biggest goal is to provide an emotionally and physically safe camp experience. Tamarack Grief Resource Center will be following local and national camp guidelines related to COVID-19 safety. Space is limited. 

Please note: Completion of the registration form does not guarantee acceptance to camp. 

Upon being accepted to camp, you will receive additional information (directions to camp, schedules, times of arrival and departure, etc.).

 

Apply by July 21 for a discounted rate!

2023 ACTR Day Camp will take place July 17th-20th in Kalispell, MT. 

A Camp to Remember Day Camp brings all the magic of the camp experience to a daily format. Camp days blend traditional camp activities with chances to honor loved ones through creative expression, ritual, and story. We will meet 9:00-3:00pm each day. 

 

Please note: Completion of this registration form does not guarantee acceptance to camp. This day camp is offered on a sliding scale, $35-$200 per person. Fees are refundable, minus a $35 processing fee, up to 3 weeks prior to the program start date. Within 3 weeks of the program, fees are non-refundable. 

 

We want to ensure that A Camp to Remember Day Camp is a positive experience for all. Together we will determine if your child is likely to benefit from camp. Your thoughtful, honest, and complete responses help us best support your child. Upon being accepted to camp, you will receive additional information (directions to camp, schedules, times of arrival and departure, etc.). Campers of any age must be able to engage constructively in group settings and must not require one-on-one supervision to do so.
